The MKB leadership team has over 30 years of IT solutions, development, and staffing for government agencies and private sectors. Our focus blends people together with processes to ensure a symbiotic relationship and accretive experience throughout all phases of the project management life cycle.

Our company has a plethora of small business and socio-economic certifications (see details at Contracting) and can help government customers or teaming partners establish a sole-source contract vehicle or direct award. Management Team

Pearl Promwanrat, CPA
President

Pearl’s executive leadership thrives on motivation and passion, coupled with efficiency, to lead the company’s strategy and vision in existing and new markets. She contributes versatile expertise in areas of management, corporate governance, finance, and marketing. Pearl brings a charismatic leadership approach by continuously strengthening relationships and capturing new opportunities, all while directing MKB’s strategic framework. She is responsible for developing business with partners, contractors, clients, and contracting officers, managing front-end sales, and preserving the quality of all MKB deliverables.

Her prior work experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Big 4 public accounting firm, includes Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal audits for multi-million dollar revenue clients consisting of publicly-traded and large private companies. These engagements focused on the operating effectiveness of business process and IT-related control activities in the Utilities, Oil and Gas, and Higher Education industries.

She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and is a member of the Dallas CPA Society. She holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy, as well as Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating magna cum laude of her class. 

Mike Hoang
Chief Executive

Mike oversees all facets of the business to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. He reviews corporate ledgers to ensure financial reports are prepared accurately and timely. He is responsible for forecasting, decision-making, and strategic planning to increase the bottom-line and overall financial growth.

His experience stems from overseeing 700+ operating properties and performing senior-level analysis and reporting for world-wide portfolios with CBRE, a Fortune 200 commercial real estate corporation. Mike also managed sales and held a book of business comprising of several multi-million dollar revenue corporations for Schneider National, another Fortune company and one of the largest truckload carriers in North America. 

Ken Hoang
Director of Technology

Ken develops business operations and IT strategy, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth. He evaluates the state and condition of the company using data gathered by various technological tools and serves as a liaison between clients and MKB’s remote teams. Further, he ensures management is familiar with defect-eliminating processes via AGI’s Lean and Six Sigma concepts. 

Ken has completed several engagements under technical and business roles, and has vast experience as a Systems Analyst, a Senior Business Analyst, and an IT Project Manager with one of the largest mutual fund companies in the United States.
